This Week’s Learning

This week the children have been fully involved in the story of Supertato! We have talked about being stuck in the jelly, sneaking through the cakes and making sure that green pea was safely back in the freezer!

In maths the children have worked hard on problem solving and used mathematical language to show their understanding.

Fabulous writing Jesaiah!

Well done Sunny! You really enjoyed this story.
I love your drawing of the fish fingers taking the pea away.

Well done Miguel.
Daisy made her own Supertato

Homework

Please can you read a different story each day over half term and write it in the purple book.

For hook day on Wednesday please bring in something bug related that you have made, or a book or some information to share about insects.

Next Week’s Learning

Our topic after half term is lifecycles and mini beasts.

We will be exploring non fiction text to compare insects and retrieve information.

We will be focussing on the story of The Hungry Caterpillar.

At the beginning of the week for maths we will recap our sharing skills and think about how groups we can share into before moving onto 3D shapes.
